Who owns 2b2t?

Everyone wonders, who owns 2b2t the oldest anarchy server in Minecraft?

Everyone calls the server administrator "Hausemaster". However, Hausemaster has no involvement with 2b2t anymore. The actual server operator is actually someone called "Curtis" or also known as "CurtPvP".

Who is Curtis?

Curtis is one of TheCampingRusher's friends. He also used to help develop a server called "The Archon" which was a factions server that was owned by Rusher until it was sold in 2018 to a company called Voldex Games. Many people think that Voldex owns 2b2t but that is false as the company has stated they have nothing to do with 2b2t and Curtis also has nothing to do with Voldex.

When Rusher uploaded his first video on 2b2t, the server exploded with thousands of players joining the server which then caused the server to reach its player limit of 150 players at the time. This then resulted in Hausemaster to develop a queue system for 2b2t so players could queue to join the server.

However, this system was proven to be flawed and annoying for some players as you would have to reconnect to the server every 8 seconds in order to play. There was also no priority queue at the time either. This then resulted in Rusher contacting Hause and asking to see if he could possibly buy 2b2t so they can implement a better queue system, add a priority queue system and DDoS Protection for the server. According to Hause and Rusher, Hause "supposedly" declined the offer and instead made an agreement with Rusher to host the new queue and proxy system on The Archon's servers. The person who developed this new queue/proxy system was Curtis and he also setup the donation page so players could buy priority queue.

In 2018, The Archon was sold to Voldex Games and the queue and proxy server were then given to 2b2t and hosted on their servers. However, this didn't mean that Curtis stopped working on 2b2t. Somewhere around this time Curtis became a developer for 2b2t and Hausemaster left the server somewhere around this time (or maybe even eariler or later).

How do you know Curtis is running 2b2t?

Curtis was found on many Minecraft Discord servers (PaperMC, Syscraft, Admincraft, TCPShield etc) and then he slipped up.

On November 22, 2022 in the Syscraft Discord server Curtis posted a screenshot about promotions/ads on his Tebex page. (Tebex is where the donation/shop website for 2b2t is hosted) and this is what he said:

If you take a look at the screenshot and look all the way on the top there is text that says

"If you have any questions please contact 2b2t testing and provide the reference tbx"

This shows right here that Curtis is STILL involved with 2b2t and is why 2b2t has had these horrible changes these past few months.

Curtis is a factions server owner

Curtis has a history of running Factions server's which is what he is mostly good at doing. He does not know how to operate anarchy servers which is why 2b2t has rules now as he does not know what he is doing and is just a Factions server owner.

So this means 2b2t is ran by a fagations owner which is why instead you should join 8b8t.me which is true anarchy with no rules, no bans, or mutes and is also running on Minecraft 1.20 and has been up for over 7 years.
