Recent updates to 8b8t Anarchy

We have switched 8b8t from our previous server software to Folia which is a fork of Paper which adds multi threading to the server, switching to Folia has allowed us to have many players on the server with very little lag and without the need of queue. The server has been running great the past few days and espeically with the new SSD upgrade.

However, switching to Folia came with a cost.

A lot of our plugins simply did not work anymore or were broken in some way. A lot of these plugins are years old and were developed when the server was on 1.12.2, switching to Folia caused these old plugins to not work anymore due to many changes in the software.

Our core plugin which was a fork of L2X9Core (made for 1.12.2) did not work on Folia and a whole bunch of other things such as TPA, Homes, Voting and donating.

Because of this we have been working hard on developing a custom solution to resolve these issues. We have created 8b8tCore which is the core plugin for 8b8t that works on Folia. It has many features such as Homes/TPA, Anti-Illegal, Tablist and Chat Commands similar to ChatCo.

The plugin is still in beta and is incomplete with many features still being actively developed. 8b8tCore is also open source so you are free to modify the code, contribute and use this on your own server that runs Folia. Check it out here!
