Celebrating Over a Year Since the 1.12 to 1.20 Update: 8b8t's Progress and New Upgrades!

It's been just over a year since we made the big leap from Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.20, and what a year it’s been for 8b8t! This update brought major changes to gameplay, giving our community new tools, blocks, and possibilities to explore. Since then, we’ve worked hard to keep everything running smoothly and build an even better experience for everyone on the server.

Folia Upgrade Complete

We’re excited to announce that the Folia upgrade is now officially complete! Folia optimizes server performance and stability, allowing us to handle even more intense gameplay with smoother performance. This upgrade is all about enhancing the overall 8b8t experience, so you’ll notice faster load times, reduced lag, and better server-side efficiency.

8b8tCore Project Essentials Finished

While our 8b8tCore project isn’t fully completed, we’ve got all the essential parts up and running. These are the critical features that keep the server operational and allow us to introduce new and exciting mechanics down the line. From chat enhancements to customized in-game functions, 8b8tCore is paving the way for unique additions to our community.
