Server Notice and Transparency

We want to provide the 8b8t community with a full and transparent update regarding recent developments that have impacted the server.

As many of you are now aware, Leee, the founder, CEO, and owner of 8b8t, was recently arrested due to a real-world incident. While we will not speculate on the ongoing legal matter, we can confirm that Leee remains the official owner and boss of 8b8t, and no permanent changes have been made to server leadership at this time.

Shortly before this incident, the server suffered a critical RAID failure, resulting in a full outage of 8b8t.me. Restoration was already being planned and scheduled by Leee in the days leading up to the incident. However, his sudden arrest prevented him from beginning the physical recovery process.

Current Status:

• Backups of the server exist and are safe.
• Restoration requires in-person access to hardware, which only Leee currently has.
• Due to his arrest, those in-person repairs are currently impossible.

We understand how disappointing this is for our loyal player base. The server has remained a core part of the anarchy community for years, and this unplanned downtime was never intended. The situation is unfortunate and entirely beyond what anyone could have expected.

Despite the challenges, we want to make one thing clear: the future of 8b8t is not lost. The data is secure, and the server was being actively maintained until the moment things came to a halt. We remain hopeful that restoration will be possible when access is regained.

We ask for your patience and understanding during this difficult and uncertain period. Please avoid speculation and respect the privacy of all individuals involved. We will continue to provide updates through official channels, including Discord, as we learn more.
