Merry Christmas to everyone who continues to call 8b8t home.

Whether you’ve been here since the earliest days or you’re a newer player discovering the server for the first time, 8b8t exists because of the community that keeps logging in, building, destroying, and pushing the limits of an anarchy server.

As we close out 2025, we’re also approaching a major milestone.
In 2026, 8b8t will officially turn 10 years old.

What many players may not realize is that this server originally launched back in 2016 under the name 0b0t. Since then, the server has gone through resets, changes, growth, and evolution — but its core idea has remained the same: a persistent anarchy world that refuses to disappear.

Very few Minecraft servers last a decade. Even fewer survive with their identity intact.

2025 has been another chapter in that long history — full of chaos, experimentation, technical challenges, and ongoing development behind the scenes. Not everything is always visible, but progress never stops. Every adjustment and improvement is made with long-term stability and preservation in mind.

And this is just the beginning.

New ideas, improvements, and changes are already planned as we move toward the 10-year mark. Some updates will be noticeable, others subtle, but all of them are focused on keeping 8b8t alive, stable, and true to what it has always been.
