Clarifying IP Logging, Privacy, and VPN Policy

Clarifying IP Logging, Privacy, and VPN Policy

There has been ongoing misinformation circulating about our infrastructure and how we handle player data. We want to clearly and publicly state our position so there is no confusion.

No IP Logging Since 2020

We have not logged player IP addresses since 2020.

  • No IP storage in databases
  • No application-level IP logging
  • No access to IP information by staff or players
  • No exposure of network data through gameplay or streams

Claims suggesting otherwise are simply incompatible with how our systems have been designed and operated for years.

No “IP Livestreaming”

It has been claimed that IPs were somehow livestreamed or publicly exposed on our servers.

This is not possible under our setup.

Our infrastructure does not log, surface, or display player IPs in any form. There is nothing to “leak,” stream, or expose.

VPNs Are Allowed

We take player privacy seriously.

  • VPNs are allowed
  • No forced de-anonymization
  • No region-based blocking
  • No hidden tracking mechanisms

We believe players should be able to protect their privacy without being punished or excluded.

Some servers choose to block VPNs or enforce restrictive network policies. That is their decision—but it is not ours.

Transparency Over Rumors

We’re not interested in rumor cycles, drama, or rewriting history.
We’re interested in being clear about how things actually work.

If you ever see claims about our infrastructure, the simplest test is this:

Do they match our documented policies and long-term practices?

If not, they’re misinformation.

Final Statement

Our stance is simple:

  • Respect player privacy
  • Allow VPN usage
  • Avoid invasive logging
  • Be transparent about our systems

That approach has worked for us for years, and it’s not changing.

If you care about privacy, facts, and long-term stability, you already know where we stand.
