8b8t Launches the First Legacy Console Edition Anarchy Server
For years, the Minecraft anarchy community has pushed the boundaries of what is possible with the game. From massive stash networks to custom server software and experimental clients, anarchy players have always been at the forefront of innovation.
Today, 8b8t is doing it again.
We are proud to announce the first-ever Minecraft Legacy Console Edition anarchy server, powered by custom server software built using the recently surfaced Legacy Console Edition source code.
A New Era for Legacy Console Edition
Minecraft's Legacy Console Edition (LCE) was originally designed for platforms like Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. Unlike modern Bedrock Edition, LCE had its own mechanics, menus, and gameplay systems that many players still consider the most nostalgic version of Minecraft.
Recently, developers began experimenting with the leaked Legacy Console Edition codebase, allowing the game to run on PC through community projects such as MinecraftConsoles. This repository allows players to build and run the legacy console client using modern systems.
Until now, most people were only using it for singleplayer or LAN testing.
8b8t has taken it further.
The First Public LCE Anarchy Server
Using custom server modifications built around the leaked LCE codebase, 8b8t now hosts the first publicly accessible Legacy Console Edition anarchy server.

How to Join
To connect, you must use the modified Legacy Console Edition client from the GitHub repository.

Download the latest nightly build and launch the client. Once the game starts, connect using the following:
