8b8t is Currently on a Temporary World – Here's What's Going On
As of now, 8b8t is running on a temporary server/world until our founder, Leee, resolves his ongoing legal matters. We understand that players have questions and concerns, so we’re here to clarify what’s happening and reassure you that 8b8t remains safe, stable, and in good hands.
🔒 The Main World is Safe and Backed Up
Let’s get one thing clear: the original 8b8t world is not gone.
It’s safely stored and fully backed up. The only thing preventing it from being restored is that it’s compressed in a secure format that can only be decompressed once Leee is able to return and handle the process directly. No data has been lost, and your builds, bases, and progress remain intact.
🗺️ Temporary World with Limited Features
In the meantime, the server is running on a temporary world to keep the community alive and give players a place to continue playing and exploring. While it may not be the original map, the essence of 8b8t remains — raw survival, freedom, and chaos — with familiar systems like /tpa, /home, and all the core anarchy gameplay you're used to. Also a bonus, Donkey, zombie and frame dupe are ENABLED!
However, due to the current situation, some features may be missing or limited. This includes:
- Player login history
- Donator ranks
- Custom tags or perks tied to old accounts
We currently do not have access to this data, so certain systems are temporarily offline. We know it’s frustrating, and we appreciate your patience while we work through this.

Our dedicated staff team is actively maintaining and monitoring the server, ensuring performance, stability, and community standards are upheld during this transition. Anti-bot protections, server monitoring, and player support are still running strong, so you can continue to enjoy the server without interruptions.
