8b8t is Back Online
After a long period of downtime, 8b8t is officially back online and stronger than ever.
As many of you know, the server was offline due to external legal issues involving Leee, the original founder. While these matters were unrelated to 8b8t itself, they impacted the infrastructure the server relied on. We’ve taken serious steps to ensure nothing like this ever affects the server again.
A New Chapter for 8b8t
We’re proud to announce that Xera Inc., the organization behind 8b8t, is now a legally registered business in Canada, with Leee (also known as Nate Legault) serving as the CEO. This move marks a major step toward long-term stability, accountability, and growth.
While 8b8t remains hosted in-house in Edmonton, Alberta, we’ve begun implementing major backend and structural improvements to secure the future of the server.

Looking Ahead
8b8t continues to run on Folia, a high-performance server software that allows hundreds of players to connect simultaneously with minimal lag. Our custom plugin remains open-source and is constantly updated to fix exploits and improve server stability.
