Overview
8b8t started in 2016, during a time when anarchy servers were starting to blow up—especially with 2b2t gaining massive attention and long queue wait times becoming the norm. A lot of players wanted that same no-rules experience, just without having to wait hours to actually play. That’s where 8b8t began.
Originally launched under the name 0b0t, the server started as a simple survival world, but it quickly turned into full anarchy. The idea was straightforward: no rules, no limits, no interference. Players could do whatever they wanted, and the world would reflect that.
Over time, the server evolved—moving from 0b0t to 6b6t, and eventually becoming 8b8t. Through all the changes, the core idea never changed. The world stayed online, growing more chaotic and destroyed as more players joined. Bases came and went, spawn turned into a wasteland, and escaping it became the first real challenge.
As more players looked for alternatives to 2b2t’s queues, 8b8t built its own community. People joined for the freedom, stayed for the chaos, and left their mark on the world in whatever way they wanted—building, griefing, fighting, or just surviving.
The server has been kept running and stable over the years so the anarchy can continue without interruption. There are no resets, no forced direction, and nothing telling you how to play.
Today, 8b8t is still running on that same idea it started with—complete freedom. The world is shaped entirely by the players who come and go. As long as people keep joining, the chaos doesn’t stop.

Where it started
8b8t originally started in late 2016 under the name 0b0t as a non-vanilla anarchy server created by Leee as an alternative to the server 2b2t due to the long queue times. The server was then rebranded to 6b6t on March 3, 2019.
The original world created during the 0b0t/6b6t Era was lost sometime in 2019 due to hardware failures. We later created 8b8t and the current map started on August 2020 and has been maintained since.
Technologies & Mechanics
8b8t runs on a highly customized Folia fork, allowing for multi-threaded performance that traditional servers cannot match. Our core plugin, 8b8tCore, is the most advanced anti-illegal system ever made, protecting the server at the bitstream level.

Yes. 8b8t is an anarchy server with no in-game rules.
Why is 8b8t a cracked server?
8b8t is a cracked server because of Mojangs EULA. 8b8t goes against Mojang politics, we believe in player freedom, privacy and choice.
Why do illegal events exist?
Illegal events are a way to make money from the server. We do not profit off our server and our anti-illegal system allows us to revert items after the illegal event. You can still keep your illegals but you cannot use them after events illegals massively accelerate destruction or creation.
Why is there /homes, /tpa, etc.?
Being the very first non-vanilla anarchy server, we had streamlined most of the tedious tasks our server is not like 9b9t/Constantiam/2b2t while many players like the 2b2t format the majority of our playerbase prefers such commands, dupes, etc as it makes it easier to make massive builds or do big projects with less players.
What is the seed of 8b8t?
The seed is hashed with the Blake3 Digest algorithim this means that it's a one way function to protect against world terrain exploitation such as block rotations, bedrock, and terrain we keep the salt private.
Can I join 8b8t on Bedrock?
